President William Ruto purchased a bull for Ksh700,000 at the Nairobi International Trade Fair on October 1, just weeks after acquiring another for Ksh1 million in Mombasa.

• On October 1 at the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Jamhuri Showground, President Ruto secured a 720-kilogram Borana bull by placing the highest bid of Ksh700,000.
• He was accompanied by Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, both of whom also secured bulls.
• This follows a previous purchase on September 4 in Mombasa, where Ruto spent Ksh1 million on a Chianina bull weighing 885 kilograms after outbidding Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir and Senate Speaker Amason Kingi.
