Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdulahi has been re-elected as the chairperson of the Council of Governors (CoG) during a full council meeting held on Monday. This marks his continued leadership after taking office last year.

• Ahmed Abdulahi retained his position as chairperson of the CoG.
• Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga was re-elected as the CoG vice chair.
• Tharaka Nithi’s Muthomi Njuki joins the Council’s Executive as Whip, succeeding Nandi Governor Stephen Sang.
