Governors convened to elect a new leadership team for the Council of Governors in Kenya. Following the election, Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi was re-elected as the chair of the Council of Governors (COG). Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga also retained his position as Deputy Chairman.
