On Thursday, October 9, activists protested in Nairobi's CBD at the Uganda High Commission Chancery, demanding the release of Kenyan politicians Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, who were reportedly abducted in Kampala, Uganda, on October 1.

• The two were allegedly abducted by security officials after attending a political campaign for Bobi Wine, presidential candidate of the National Unity Platform.
• Activist Maryanne Kasina emphasized, "an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
• Ugandan National Police Spokesperson ACP Kituuma Rusoke denied knowledge of their whereabouts on October 2, stating they are not in custody.
