• The MP was allegedly attempting to disrupt a planned rally by opposition leaders, including former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Kalonzo Musyoka.
• Gachagua accused President Ruto's allies of funding local politicians like Muriuki to mobilize individuals to interfere with opposition rallies.
