Police in Nairobi have arrested a suspect and seized a significant quantity of cannabis in an operation at Umoja 1 Market. This bust is part of ongoing efforts by the National Police Service (NPS) to combat drug distribution across the country.

• Approximately 20 kilogrammes of unprocessed cannabis, along with 3,000 rolls and 33 packaged bundles, were recovered.
• The operation was conducted by officers from the Nairobi Region of the National Police Service.
• The arrested suspect is currently in custody and is expected to appear in court as investigations continue.
