The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) announced the six-week closure of a major section of the Bomas - Kiserian road in Nairobi, starting from October 20 to December 1, 2025, to facilitate the construction of two new box culverts.

• The affected road sections stretch from Galleria/Brookhouse to the junction near the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
• Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as Langata Road, Langata South Road, Kiboko Road, Banda Lane, and Magadi Road.
• This closure follows a recent 17-day temporary closure of a section of Likoni Road by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) for rehabilitation works, from October 15 to 31.
