The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a warning for increased rainfall across Kenya over the next five days, from Tuesday, October 28 to Saturday, November 1. Regions across the country are expected to experience showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds.
- Counties like Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot are forecasted to have day-long rains and thunderstorms with temperatures between 8°C and 31°C.
- Nairobi and surrounding counties, including Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, and Tharaka, will also see rain and showers, with lows of 5°C and highs of 31°C.
- Coastal areas such as Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale, along with Tana River County, are expected to have showers with maximum temperatures of 33°C and minimums of 22°C.
