• The seized substances will be forwarded to the Government Chemist for analysis, and the suspects' mobile phones to the DCI headquarters for forensic examination.
• The vessel carrying the Iranians was intercepted on Saturday, October 26, about 630 kilometers east off the coast of Mombasa, yielding 769 packages of methamphetamine valued at an estimated Ksh8.2 billion.
• Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen announced the drugs will be publicly incinerated.
