The "AI Super League," initially a technology contest, has rapidly become a central platform for advancing artificial intelligence cooperation between China and ASEAN, with Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region emerging as a key regional hub.

The initiative, "AI for All: China-ASEAN," launched in July by the Guangxi regional government, has attracted over 3,300 teams, including 329 teams from ASEAN member states.
Lu Xinning, vice governor of the Guangxi People’s Government, emphasized that the league has evolved beyond a mere competition, fostering an innovation community extending across the region and shifting cooperation from traditional domains to the digital sphere.
The initiative is promoting deeper integration of AI technology into the real economy and supporting AI enterprises targeting the ASEAN market, with a focus on practical applications in areas like automotive innovation and agriculture.
