Celebrated Kenyan gospel artist Betty Bayo has passed away after a brief battle with leukaemia. The “Eleventh Hour” hitmaker died on Monday afternoon at approximately 1 pm while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).

Betty Bayo was admitted to KNH on Friday after being transferred from AAR Hospital due to excessive bleeding.
Her ex-partner, Pastor Victor Kanyari, confirmed the news, describing her as “a woman of strength and faith.”
Her body has been moved to the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Mortuary as funeral arrangements are being made.
