Pastor Victor Kanyari has spoken out following the death of his ex-wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo, expressing heartbreak and claiming he was not informed of her illness. Bayo, known for her hit “Eleventh Hour,” died on Monday, November 10, at Kenyatta National Hospital due to acute myeloid leukaemia.

• Kanyari stated he was kept in the dark about Betty Bayo’s battle with cancer, saying, "If I was told, I would have fought day and night for her."
• He questioned the suddenness of her death, asserting that "Cancer doesn’t just appear one day and kill you the next," implying she must have suffered for a significant period.
• The couple, who had two children together, Sky Victor and Danny, had a publicly scrutinized relationship that ended after a 2014 TV exposé accused Kanyari of staged miracles.
