2 Police Officers Killed in IED Attack, MCA Arrested for Fraud, and Firearm Recovered in Nairobi - November 2025

Several security and crime incidents have been reported across the country. In Kulan, near Daadab, two Administration Police officers were killed and five others were critically injured when their patrol vehicle hit an Improvised Explosive Device in a suspected Al-Shabaab attack. In Kisii County, a Member of the County Assembly was arrested for allegedly conning residents of over Ksh200,000 through fake foreign travel opportunities to Canada. In Nairobi, police in the Huruma area recovered a firearm during a routine night patrol after a suspicious individual fled the scene.
