The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a nine-hour traffic disruption on a section of the Eldoret Bypass this upcoming Saturday, November 22, 2025, to facilitate a cycling race.

• The closure will affect the road from Cheplaskei Interchange to Maili Tisa (Leseru) Interchange, lasting from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• The disruption is for the 2025 Ceder Sports Academy cycling race.
• Motorists are advised to use the alternative Cheplaskei-Maili Tisa (A8) Road section through the Eldoret City Central Business District (CBD), also known as Uganda Road.
• This bypass is a critical link for traffic between Nakuru and destinations like Malaba and Uganda, particularly for long-distance trucks.
