Safaricom PLC has announced four new millionaires in its ongoing Shangwe @25 consumer promotion, bringing the total to five winners since the campaign began two weeks ago. Each winner receives KSh 1 million, plus an additional KSh 250,000 for a community project.

• The new millionaires are Josephine Waswa from Bungoma, Bernice Mumo from Makueni, Abdi Dahir from Garissa, and Josephat Mwilaria from Athi River.
• They join Yvonne Wanjiku Kang’ara, the first winner from Kiambu County.
• Josephine Waswa, a sugarcane farmer, plans to expand her farming and support Kasosi Primary School with desks.
• Bernice Mumo, a cosmetology graduate, will fund a laboratory at Mwalano Dispensary in Makueni County.
• Abdi Dahir, a turn boy, will support his family and provide water tanks and desks to Sangailu Primary School in Garissa.
• Josephat Mwilaria, a businessman, will reinvest in his business and support Pillars of Hope Children’s Home.
• The promotion offers prizes worth KSh 250 million to over 5 million customers.
