Liz Jackson clarified that the vehicle with registration number KCZ 305U was "not mine," aligning with reports from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The accident occurred at Karai along the Nakuru–Nairobi Highway when Jirongo's vehicle was hit by a Climax Company Ltd bus (KCU 576A).
The bus driver, Tyrus Githinji Kamau, faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving and was released on cash bail, required to report to Naivasha Traffic Base on December 22, 2025.
