The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the dispatch of 2024 KCPE and KCSE examination certificates to all schools nationwide via Sub-County Director of Education offices. Candidates are advised to collect their certificates from the schools where they sat their examinations.

KNEC has warned schools against unlawfully withholding certificates, even for unpaid fees, instructing affected students to report such cases to the Sub-County Director of Education.
The Minister of Education, Julius Ogamba, previously issued a 14-day ultimatum for schools to release all withheld certificates.
Starting in 2025, candidates will collect their certificates specifically from the Sub-County Education Director's offices, rather than schools.
