• Karua suggested that questions about the accident, which occurred on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway, would persist without a thorough investigation by the government.
• Chama cha Kazi Party leader Moses Kuria called for a comprehensive investigation and offered to provide a traditional "torch" for Jirongo's burial.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is analyzing Jirongo’s mobile phone and has summoned the bus driver involved in the collision for further questioning, as CCTV footage captured his vehicle making a U-turn just moments before the head-on collision at 2:19:25 am.
