Kenya's national government civil servants will receive a pay rise, backdated to July 1, 2025, following approval from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) for new salaries and allowances under Phase I of the 2025–2029 remuneration review cycle.

The pay increase, approved by the SRC on December 19, 2025, will cost Ksh 2,065,701,510 for the Financial Year 2025/2026.
The new structure includes a Salary Market Adjustment (SMA), consolidating several allowances, and revised house allowances across three clusters, with Nairobi residents receiving the highest rates.
Lower-grade employees like CSG15 will see salaries rise to Ksh 21,120 to Ksh 26,250, while higher grades such as CSG4 can expect Ksh 185,690 to Ksh 396,130, plus house allowances up to Ksh 140,600 in Nairobi.
