- Among the items seized from the illegal clinic in Kawangware were: laboratory equipment, assorted drugs, and an identification card bearing the name “Lowrence King’atua Kamau.”
- Health Cabinet Secretary (CS) Aden Duale stated that the MoH will digitize the healthcare system, creating a central dashboard of all licensed and illegal practitioners.
- A new regulatory framework, the “scope of practice,” will be instituted to ensure medical procedures are performed only by trained practitioners, eliminating “grey areas.”
