The Ministry of Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development has announced a public auction of unserviceable motor vehicles and obsolete tyres starting from Ksh50,000. The auction is scheduled for February 4, 2026, at the NSSF Building in Nairobi.
- Nine grounded vehicles, including Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Ford models, with reserve prices from Ksh50,000 to Ksh600,000 will be auctioned.
- Assorted obsolete tyres, listed as one lot, will have a reserve price of Ksh10,000.
- Interested bidders must pay a refundable deposit of 10 per cent of the reserve price and a non-refundable Ksh1,000 bidding form fee.
- Inspection of items will take place between January 21 and February 2, 2026.
- Successful bidders must pay 25 per cent immediately and the balance within seven days to avoid forfeiture or a Ksh1,000 daily storage charge.
