National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and 27 other individuals have recorded statements in the investigation into the fatal road accident that killed former Lugari MP and businessman Cyrus Jirongo on the night of December 13, 2025, along the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) states that the probe has been comprehensive, and the file will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for action.
