Branches across Kenya are holding selection trials this weekend to pick their teams for the upcoming National Novices Championships in Nairobi. This follows last weekend's trials in Nairobi, Nakuru, Vihiga, and Kajiado, as young boxers aim to advance.

Mombasa, Kiambu, Meru, and Kisumu counties will be picking their teams from Friday to Saturday.
The National Novices Championships will be held at Greenpark in Nairobi from February 5-7.
The Mombasa County Boxing Association will see more than 10 clubs participate in their trials.
Boxing Federation of Kenya (BFK) Communications Director Duncan Kuria confirmed readiness for the national event.
