Comedian turned activist Eric Omondi has been hospitalized due to injuries sustained while attempting to walk over 480 km from Nairobi to Mombasa. Despite tearing ligaments in his left leg and hip after covering 68 km to Machakos, Omondi remains determined to complete his "Walk of Love" challenge.

• Omondi's walk, which began on Tuesday, February 10, aims to raise funds for the Sisi kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre.
• The challenge, scheduled to take five days, seeks to raise money for a warehouse, two ambulances, a clinic, and a free secondary school.
• The initiative has already raised over Ksh 70 million for community projects, with recent donations including over KSh 6 million for a bedridden mother.
• Omondi is appealing to the public to "buy a kilometre" for Ksh 15,000 each, to help him reach Mombasa.
