• The Bungoma Water and Sewerage Company will start its mass disconnections on February 12, 2026, affecting domestic customers, schools, hospitals, hotels, and kiosks, with payments directed to Paybill Number 4954000.
• This announcement follows calls from Coast region county chiefs including Governor Abdulswamad Nassir (Mombasa) and Governor Gideon Mung'aro (Kilifi) for the disbandment of the Coast Water Board due to its failure to address water shortages.
