The Kenya Roads Board has appointed Judith Otsyula as its new Director General, marking a significant milestone as she becomes the first woman to hold this position. She takes over from Acting Director General Engineer Isaac Maina.

• Otsyula brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in infrastructure development and strategic programme management.
• Her role includes administering the Road Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF) and the Kenya Roads Board Fund.
• She will oversee the Annual Public Roads Programme (APRP) and advise the Cabinet Secretary on road infrastructure policy.
