• The Red Cross cautions that just six inches of moving water can knock a person off their feet, and one foot of moving water can sweep a vehicle away.
• Kenyans are advised to evacuate to elevated areas, switch off electricity, avoid downed power lines, and refrain from driving across flooded bridges.
• Rainfall is expected to intensify, with over 20mm within 24 hours on February 21 in regions like Nairobi and the Lake Victoria Basin, potentially exceeding 30mm from February 22 to February 24.
• 22 counties are on the watchlist, including Nairobi, Mombasa, and Migori.
