Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola has been elected as the President of the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone. The election concluded during a two-day plenary session held in The Hague, Netherlands, on February 27, 2026.

• Justice Isaac Lenaola, the former Vice President, is now the President.
• Other elected officials include Vice President Justice Andrew Hatton and Staff Appeals Judge Justice Tonia Barnett.
• The newly elected officers will serve renewable two-year terms, overseeing residual legal obligations of the Special Court.
