Legislators from both the National Assembly and the Senate gathered at the Nairobi home of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng'eno to mourn his passing. He tragically died in a helicopter crash on Saturday evening.

The delegation was led by National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah and Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot.
Ng'eno, who was serving his third term, was also the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Housing, Urban Planning and Public Works and played a key role in the Affordable Housing Act, 2024.
The helicopter crash occurred at the Chepkiep area in Mosop Constituency, Nandi County, killing himself and five others.
