The National Liberal Party (NLP) has successfully reclaimed its iconic water jet symbol after a ruling by the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal, which declared the emblem rightfully belongs to NLP over the Vision for Development Alliance (VIDA).

• The Tribunal ruled that the Registrar of Political Parties acted unlawfully in assigning the water jet symbol to VIDA.
• NLP, led by Party Leader Dr. Augustus Muli, argued the symbol has been integral to its identity for years.
• VIDA has been permanently barred from using the water jet symbol or any similar mark.
