The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has initiated interviews for over 12,000 temporary positions to support the upcoming Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise.

• The commission is hiring approximately 10,780 voter registration clerks, 1,450 voter registration assistants, and 290 ICT clerks for a 30-day period.
• IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon recently indicated a required budget of Ksh6.9 billion for voter registration ahead of the 2027 General Election.
• Shortlisted candidates, who have been notified, will undergo training after successfully passing the interviews, preparing them for their roles in nationwide voter registration.
