The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a five-day heavy rainfall warning for several regions across Kenya, starting Friday, March 27, through Tuesday, March 31.

• Heavy to moderate rains are expected in Central Kenya, Western Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, and Northeastern Kenya.
• Residents in the Western region, Rift Valley, and Lake Victoria Basin areas are warned of potential flooding and thunderstorms.
• Simultaneously, Central Kenya is forecasted to experience very cold nights, with temperatures dropping to 07°C, while other parts of the country will see daytime temperatures exceeding 30°C.
