A tragic road accident on the Nyeri–Nyahururu highway claimed 15 lives when a lorry carrying logs collided with a matatu near Dedan Kimathi University on Saturday evening. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) is enhancing enforcement following the incident, with Transport Cabinet Secretary Chirchir pledging to investigate.
