The Directorate of Criminal Investigations is investigating a local tycoon-owned firm and a Swiss oil company in connection with the emergency fuel deal. Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi has confirmed the substandard fuel threat has been contained and petroleum supplies are secure, while warning against political disinformation as investigations intensify.
