• Numerous petrol stations in areas like Kabarnet Town and Marigat have run out of diesel, forcing motorists to seek limited supplies or buy in bulk using jerrycans.
• Matatu operators are particularly affected, facing difficulties accessing fuel for routes to Nakuru, Eldoret, and Marigat.
• Despite local shortages, Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi stated that the country has adequate fuel stocks, with the Kenya Pipeline Company holding significant reserves and confirmed deliveries for the April fuel cycle.
