The High Court has granted the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) limited access to medical records concerning ex-OCS Samson Talam, who is accused of murdering a teacher and blogger, Albert Ojwang, while in police custody.

• The accused, former Central Police Station commander Samson Talam, has denied the charge of murdering Albert Ojwang on June 8, 2025.
• The trial was adjourned to allow Talam to seek specialized medical treatment, with new hearing dates set for July 20, 2026.
