Siaya Governor James Orengo has put the police on notice for the delayed arrest of suspects involved in the attack on Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi. The attack occurred at a cafe in Kisumu last week.

• Governor Orengo specifically named Willis Akoth alias 'Boi Akoth' as the alleged ringleader who remains at large, despite clear CCTV evidence.
• Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has also been called into question, with allegations suggesting links to the group, which he denies.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) had previously confirmed the arrest of three suspects on April 9.
