The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA) has issued a weekend rainfall advisory, warning of moderate to heavy showers across multiple regions of Kenya from Friday, April 24 to Tuesday, April 28.

• Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is expected in parts of Western Kenya, the Rift Valley, and the Lake Victoria basin, with potential for moderate rainfall in Central Kenya, eastern lowlands, and the coast.
• Residents in affected counties are urged to be vigilant for potential floods.
• Temperatures are expected to be cold during the nights in Central Kenya (dropping to 7°C) and very high during the day in the coastal region, Lake Victoria basin, and Northwestern Kenya (up to 36°C).
