98 students have successfully graduated from Bandari Maritime Academy after completing the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) Basic Safety and Security Course, enhancing Kenya's maritime workforce and the Blue Economy agenda.

• Key partners included Bandari Maritime Academy, Kenya Utalii College, Tinderet Integrated Technical Training College, and the Kenya Tourism Board, with sponsorship from Tinderet MP Julius Melly.
• The STCW course is International Maritime Organization-approved and provides globally recognised safety competencies, serving as a minimum entry qualification for seafarers in Kenya.
