The Sharifa masjid has officially opened at the National Youth Service (NYS) headquarters in Nairobi County. This opening signifies a continued government commitment to partnering with well-wishers to build modern mosques in public institutions.

• The mosque was constructed by businessman and well-wisher Dr Mohamud Butt Sadaqah Jariyah in dedication to his late mother.
• Key figures present included Special Programmes Principal Secretary Ismail Maalim Madey, National Youth Service Council chairman Lieutenant General (Rtd) Adan Mulata, and National Youth Service commandant General James Tembur.
• The Sharifa masjid also includes social conference and Madrasa facilities, serving as a hub for community cohesion and mentorship for the youth.
