National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has urged Members of Parliament to urgently review cooperative laws and seal loopholes that expose members' savings to mismanagement and loss.

• Speaker Wetang’ula emphasized that weak governance systems continue to endanger savings in cooperative societies.
• The call was made during the launch of Shirikiana Sacco at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
• Wetang’ula announced that senior government leaders, including himself, will join Shirikiana Sacco to provide seed capital.
