- Approximately 27,000 metric tonnes of raw sugar were imported, with about 3,900 tonnes currently in Kisumu for processing.
- The investigation is led by Committee Chairperson and Ikolomani MP Bernard Masaka Shinali, who is tracing the sugar's movement from the Port of Mombasa to the processing plant.
