Nairobi is set to launch the new Ngong Road-Naivasha Road Junction Flyover, an 800-metre elevated dual carriageway designed to significantly ease traffic congestion.

• The flyover aims to separate traffic along Ngong Road from vehicles accessing Naivasha Road and King’ara Road.
• The project was implemented by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) and supported by the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration, led by Interior Principal Secretary Dr Raymond Omollo.
• This infrastructure is expected to improve connectivity between Ngong and the Central Business District, reduce travel times, and enhance access to facilities like the Talanta Stadium ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
