President William Ruto on Monday commissioned the Ksh3.8 billion Ngong Road-Naivasha Road Flyover, an 800-metre elevated dual carriageway aimed at easing traffic congestion in Nairobi.

• The project, costing Ksh3.8 billion, is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion and improve the movement of thousands of motorists.
• Led by President William Ruto, the commissioning was overseen by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA).
• The flyover will also improve access to key facilities, including the Talanta Stadium, which is under construction for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
