These individuals are targeting patients, healthcare providers, and beneficiaries with false promises of expedited claims processing, payments, accreditation, and registration.

• SHA is advising citizens to avoid engaging with anyone claiming to offer preferential treatment or fast-track services, as all official transactions are conducted through designated channels like SHA branch offices and Huduma Centres.
• The alert comes amidst SHA's implementation of new reforms, including mandatory accredited Health Management Information System (HMIS) usage for healthcare facilities by FY 2026/28.
• Members of the public are urged to report suspected fraud or impersonation cases to SHA via their official reporting channels, including the email fraud@sha.go.ke and toll-free line 147, or to the police.
