A Kenyan judge has nullified the recruitment of over 30 senior prosecutors at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), citing constitutional violations.

• The court ordered a fresh recruitment process for the positions of Senior Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions.
• Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Mark Nabuyumbu Barasa was awarded KSh 1 million in damages.
• The ODPP failed to demonstrate transparency, fairness, and accountability in the selection process.
