Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale reassured that the transition of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) workers to permanent and pensionable terms under county governments is progressing as planned.

• UHC workers will be absorbed into public service and moved to county government payrolls.
• The Ministry of Health is collaborating with the Council of Governors, National Treasury, and other bodies to ensure a smooth transition.
• Remuneration for these workers will align with nationally approved standards set by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
