The Kenyan government is set to disburse the second tranche of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) grant this Friday, supporting 122,000 youths with business start-up capital.

• KSh3 billion in grants will be distributed, with each of the 122,000 beneficiaries receiving an additional KSh25,000, bringing their total to KSh50,000.
• The disbursement will be overseen by President William Ruto in Nairobi, with Cabinet Secretaries representing him at 17 other launch venues nationwide.
• An additional cohort of 33,000 beneficiaries will each receive a KSh50,000 grant after completing a business development skills program.
