Dubai has launched the Kenya Business Council, a new platform designed to significantly boost trade and investment between Kenya and the UAE, following the recent signing of the Kenya-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

• Dubai Chambers established the council to enhance collaboration and identify new investment opportunities between the two business communities.
• Maha Al Gergawi, Vice President of Business Community Support at Dubai Chambers, emphasized its role in strengthening partnerships and exploring new avenues for bilateral cooperation.
• In 2025, 146 Kenyan companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, bringing the total active Kenyan businesses to 587, a 9.7% increase.
