The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is seeking a 30-day detention for a mother and son, Rose Mulwa and Chris Mulwa, in connection with the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso in Nairobi.

• The suspects are linked to incidents where the slain doctor reported being followed and threatened by armed men on a motorcycle prior to her death on July 31st, 2026.
• Dr Victoria Mutiso had identified Chris Mulwa as a person who had threatened her in a previous incident on July 7th.
• Investigators believe the suspects may have information vital to identifying and apprehending the remaining individuals involved in the murder and potential land fraud.
