The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is seeking a 30-day detention for Rose Mulwa and Chris Mulwa in connection with the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso in Nairobi. The mother and son duo are being held over the killing. Additionally, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has approved corruption charges against nine individuals and three companies linked to procurement irregularities within the Nakuru County Government. Seven Nakuru County officials are among those charged over Sh120 million procurement fraud. The Environment and Land Court in Meru has also issued an extended order halting construction of a state lodge, airstrip, and golf course within Imenti Forest, pending the determination of legal challenges.
